They won’t get John Wall, but the New Jersey Nets should still very happy with No. 3 pick in the 2010 NBA Draft.
There is zero doubt in my mind that right after NBA Commissioner David Stern makes his first trip to podium he will utter these words, “And with the first pick of the two-thousand-and-ten NBA Draft, the Washington Wizards select John Wall, point guard from the University of Kentucky”.
And, just as sure as I am about Wall going first, Evan Turner will go No. 2 to the Philadelphia 76ers. The 76ers need the dynamic play-making ability that Turner brings. He can create his own shot from anywhere and everywhere on the basketball court. Since he is such a big scoring threat Turner also can get open shots for his teammates.
Then, it will be the Nets turn to make the best pick in the draft. Stern makes his stride back to the podium for a third time, “With the third pick in the two-thousand-and-ten NBA Draft, the New Jersey Nets select DeMarcus Cousins, forward from the University of Kentucky.
