The Suns are slowly becoming the Chicago Cubs of the basketball world.
They were started by a native of Chicago and with all the snowbirds who have migrated here, there is an influence of the Windy City in the Valley of the Sun.
Sure the Cubs haven't won a title in 102 years, but the Suns have yet to win one in their 41 year history.
Call it the Curse of the Coin Flip when Jerry Colangelo called heads to gain control of the first overall pick in the 1969 NBA Draft. It came up tails and the Milwaukee Bucks would go on to pick Lew Alcindor.
The Suns have yet to come up with a viable option at center (Robin Lopez looks as though he could be the first).
The Suns are a fun team to watch and hardly anyone doesn't like to watch them (except for David Stern, but that's an article for another time). They don't play dirty, they have fun while they are playing, and they are the underdogs in almost every series they are in.
