I must start this article off with a disclaimer, because I'm sure by the time it is read there will be plenty of exasperation and gnashing of teeth.
This is my list of the top 10 players in the NBA RIGHT NOW! These players are the ones that I see as the best at this particular moment.
Having said that, I'm sure this list will not be the same at season's end, as some of the players will move up and some will drop off completely.
You will notice that no players from the Boston Celtics have been included and it's not by mistake. The Celtics as a collective are great, but none of them have stood out individually, in my opinion.
You will also notice that there are no players on this list whose teams records are below .500, because I choose not to reward mediocrity, or even worse, a team with a losing record.
I tried to be as objective as possible, but keep in mind that I am human, and it's only my opinion, which I am sure that many of you will disagree with.
That's fine, all I ask is that you keep it civil, and if you don't like my choices feel free to offer some alternative choices.
