The Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers are the two greatest teams in the NBA History. Their duels are stories of their own.
Now, in another classical rivalry in the biggest stage, the Finals, Celtics faced the Lakers in their home arena.The result? Los Angeles took the victory and returned the series back to L.A.
None of the teams gave up. Actually, they played hard and aggressive defense with lots of tactics to beat the opponent. Game 3 was a lot different for the Boston Celtics. Here are some of their biggest reasons for their loss.
Reason #1: Ray Allen
Now, when we look at back at Game 2, Ray Ray was on fire. He played like he couldn't miss a shot, scored most points (32) and contributed with his outside shooting. He hit fantastic eight 3-pointers in the entire game and set two NBA records in the Finals.
But Game 3 was completely not how he wanted to finish. He was ice cold . Allen didn't even make a single shot, had 0-13 and was close to set a record for most misses ever in any game of the NBA Finals. Props to Kobe and the L.A. defense for making him appositely nothing.
