Sunshine State of Mind: Tomas Kaberle To Florida?

In recent reports from TSN's Darren Dreger, it appears another two teams have entered the Tomas Kaberle Sweepstakes.

The Tampa Bay Lightning and Florida Panthers have also emerged as possible suitors for Kaberle. Given the no trade clause is lifted before the draft, Kaberle does not have any approval as to where he goes, so these teams reamin real possibilities.

From the Panthers, I expect either Nathan Horton or Stephen Weiss coming the other way. My best guess is that Weiss will be coming the other way along with either a draft pick or a mid level prospect.

Weiss is a local kid who can play first line minutes on a team that is starved for first line talent. Horton, who embodies plenty of characteristics that Brian Burke builds a team around, may have lost some stock recently with some of his actions. Nonetheless, if it means Kaberle is reunited with Bryan McCabe, you may see a deal done with the Panthers.
