1. Lou Williams and Trevor Ariza are overachieving: Williams scored a season high 30 points last Friday against the Grizzles. On the season, he is averaging 16.7 points, 5.1 assists, and 3.5 rebounds. More importantly, he is shooting 48 percent from the field. Ariza has scored at least 15 points in every game but one this season. On the season he is averaging 18.3 points per game, but needs to increase his field goal percentage if he wants reach to elite status. Ariza also has at least one steal in every game but one.
2. Drew Gooden is a must start: Gooden has started the past four games with Erick Dampier out and has 14.8 points, 13 rebounds and 1.3 blocked shots per game. He is shooting 50 percent from the field and 81 percent from the line in 36 minutes.
3. Peja Stojakovic has become important again: Peja has scored at least 25 points in two of his past five games. He made a season-high seven three-pointers and pulled down 13 rebounds vs. the Suns last week. He has made 20 three-pointers over his past five games.
