Chicago Bulls Add Keith Bogans

Late Friday night, the Bulls added a 12th man to their revamped and improved roster.

After being speculated as a target for the team for over a week, the Chicago Bulls have announced their signing of veteran shooting guard Keith Bogans.

Bogans played for the San Antonio Spurs last season, averaging 4.4 points and 2.2 rebounds in about 20 minutes per game. For his career, he averages 7.1 points and 3.0 rebounds over 23 minutes per game.

The 6'5" Kentucky graduate joins Ronnie Brewer and Kyle Korver in Chicago's rotation of capable two guards. That doesn't mean Tom Thibodeau and the Bulls organization are through looking for shooters, however.

As David Aldridge reported last night, the signing of Bogans, worth only $2.5 million over two years, doesn't eat up the entirety of the team's remaining cap space. With money left and three roster spots to fill, the Bulls may make a move for Portland swingman Rudy Fernandez.

During this offseason, after expressing his disinterest in returning to the Trail Blazers, Fernandez was made available for trade.
