Who Wants the LeBron James Kool-Aid?
August 17th, 2010 by Ramkumar S Leave a reply »So you thought the issue was over huh? Guess what? LeBron decided to let his side of the story be known and guess what we found out? He truly is a liar who is trying to justify his move to the Miami Heat.
In an interview with GQ magazine, LeBron made known his feelings towards Cleveland, Dan Gilbert and other things. Let's review them shall we?
About Cleveland:
"It's not far (Akron and Cleveland), but it is far, And Clevelanders, because they were the bigger-city kids when we were growing up, looked down on us. ... So we didn't actually like Cleveland. We hated Cleveland growing up. There's a lot of people in Cleveland we still hate to this day."
There we have it folks—the truth. He hated the city and so him bolting for Miami after becoming a free Agent is something understandable except—his original contract expired much earlier and he signed a three year extension. Would anyone who hated a city sign an extension with it? The truth is he does not love or hate Cleveland and that was never the reason why he "took his talents down south to Southbeach."
