My Picks: NBA Awards and a New One That Should Be Considered

MVP: Kevin Durant

The main reasons I picked Durant as MVP are…

He will lead his team to the playoffs and could have a shot at the first seed. But that is unlikely; unfortunately the Lakers still have it. I do think that they will have a shot at the second seed and for sure will be the third seed if not the top two.

The main reason they will get that high of a seed is because of No. 35 Kevin Durant.

He was the youngest scoring champion and led his team to the playoffs where they gave the Lakers a tough series. Durant will average close to a double-double and will be in the 30- to 35-ppg range.

The reason I didn’t pick LeBron is because of course his team will make the playoffs and he won’t be putting up 30 a game anymore.

 

Scoring Champion: Kevin Durant

Kevin was the youngest scoring champ in the NBA. I am almost certain he will do it again this upcoming season.

He averaged 30.1 points last year and should be near 30 to 35 a game like I said above.
