After a second half of summer filled with turmoil for Carmelo Anthony and the Denver Nuggets it seems that the two are now officially ready to part ways. After weeks of negotiations between other teams Melo is most likely set to land in New Jersey bringing over Derrick Favours, the number three draft pick in the 2010 NBA Draft, to the Denver Nuggets.
The current trade that is being proposed would give;
Denver Nuggets:
Andrei Kirilenko
Derrick Favours
Multiple First round picks
New Jersey Nets:
Carmelo Anthony
Utah Jazz:
Boris Diaw
Charlotte Bobcats:
Devin Harris
ESPN reports that all four teams are in "serious talks", but there is only one thing standing in the way even if the Denver Nuggets wanted to pull the trigger.
