Toronto Maple Leafs Sweep New York Rangers in OT: Gaborik and Drury Injured

The New York Rangers have solved their scoring problem, unfortunately, they're also giving up a lot. Toronto Maple Leafs capped the Rangers in OT yesterday as the Rangers receive their second disappointing loss in two games.

The Rangers were at one point behind three to one. Luckily Brian Boyle scored two goals in the third period to force a much deserved and needed overtime. Toronto would eventually come out on top with a goal in OT.

Unfortunately, the loss to Toronto is the least of the the Rangers current problems. Chris Drury, who had been out since week one of the preseason with a broken finger, broke that same finger in a different place in the game against Toronto.

Drury is expected to miss another six weeks in addition to the month he's also spent on the injury reserve. And to make matters worse, Marian Gaborik, the Rangers' leading scorer, was also injured. 

Colby Armstrong received a boarding penalty after hitting Gaborik into the boards from excess of three feet away. Gaborik suffered a separated left shoulder and is expected to be out for two to three weeks.
