The Toronto Maple Leafs left the nation's capital Saturday night with nothing to show for their mini two-game road trip but a frustrated goal tender and a bruised ego.
To say that the Leafs haven't played their best hockey on the road so far this year would be more than a little understatement as they have only collected five of a possible 20 points while away from the 'Hanger' so far this season.
The biggest concern is the amount of time the team has collectively turned the puck over.
Tomas Kaberle, despite his early consistency and solid play, seems to be back to his old ways and would rather give up the puck in his own zone than take a hit.
Mikhail Grabovski, despite his obviously above (his) average play so far this season, still has to learn to anticipate a little better when making a pass.
Francois Beauchemin and the rest of the team collectively for that matter need to learn that there is a time to take the man and a time to find the puck. If you know where the puck is, take the man, if you don't, find it.
