LeBron James and The Miami Heat: Good Thing They Play In The East

Well, I don't want to say I told you so—but hey, I told you so.

This summer, I wrote several articles about the Heat and got bashed by both Heat fans and Heat haters depending on my take. But two months into the season and LeBron and the boys are exactly what I thought they were.

A 50 to 60 win team that won't make it out of the Eastern Conference and would have no chance whatsoever if they played in the West.

In games with the Celtics and the Dallas Mavericks, it has been shown that they lack the personnel to beat the elite teams in the NBA; on the other hand, their recent winning streak proved that they have too much talent to lose to the dregs of the NBA and the Eastern Conference is loaded with bad teams. 

So where does that leave Miami as the season progresses? To be honest, I think the die is cast at this point. 

They don't have a lot of room to maneuver personnel wise. Everyone likes to talk about how Mike Miller came back last night, but Miller isn't a point guard and he doesn't play inside. 

That means that the two gaping holes in the Heat's starting line-up aren't getting help any ...
