Washington Capitals: Has Bruce Boudreau Lost the Team With Latest Comments?

The Washington Capitals are on a two game winning streak with wins against the Ottawa Senators and the New Jersey Devils. A few years ago wins against these two teams could have been used as a measuring stick of success. This year, wins against the Senators and the Devils should be expected if a team such as the Capitals plays up to their potential as both are in the lower half of the Eastern Conference standings.

The Capitals winning streak will be tested when they face the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday. The Penguins are in second place in the NHL, three points behind the Philadelphia Flyers.

As they head into the game with the team the consider their chief rival, the comments of their coach Bruce Boudreau indicate a problem within the organization, specifically has the coach "lost" the team?

Boudreau recently told the Washington Post, "Like I said in between periods on Sunday against Ottawa, they have to find a way. It's up to them. I can't be talking and yelling and screaming.
