In last Thursday night’s Ontario Hockey League action, four Boston Bruins prospects made a tangible contribution to a winning cause for their respective teams.
Dougie Hamilton slugged home an overtime goal for the Niagara Ice Dogs. Malcolm Subban repelled 27 shots to bolster a Belleville Bulls victory. Both Anthony Camara and Cody Payne assisted on the icebreaker and set a positive pace for the Barrie Colts and Plymouth Whalers, respectively.
One game after one of his scoring streaks was halted, Camara started anew. He had a hand in each of the Colts’ first four goals Thursday, effectively deciding a 7-3 home win over the Ottawa 67s. From there, he pitched in on two of the Colts three goals over a span of consecutive losses, although one was technically a regulation tie.
In a rare instance of three consecutive game nights, Seth Griffith of the London Knights saw his six-game scoring streak snapped Sunday. That, however, was not before he chipped in an assist versus Erie on Friday and in a 3-2 shootout win over Camara’s Colts on Saturday.
