JetBlue Pilot Riffs on Sidney Crosby, Asks If Crying Baby Is Penguins’ Star

The NHL Eastern Conference Finals are in full swing and even airline pilots are getting in on the hockey action. 

Yahoo! Sports' Puck Daddy spotted tweets from a couple of Boston reporters enjoying what was an apparent open-mic night on board a JetBlue airplane departing after the Bruins' win over the Penguins in Game 2. 

It seems Joe Haggerty of CSN Boston and WBZ's Dan Roche boarded a plane that featured a crying baby. And really, what plane doesn't have a crying baby or two?

Well, here is what they heard, via their tweets.



The Penguins fell into a 2-0 hole after two straight losses in Pittsburgh. What's more, they've been outscored 9-1 over that duration. 

Now they have to contend with a raucous crown in Boston for Wednesday's Game 3. So, you might say Bruins fans are enjoying this bit of salt for fresh hockey wounds. 

Normally, any comedy shtick from an airline pilot is worthy of some eye rolling and nothing more. I could do without the theatrics before takeoff and exchange them with just the mere assur ...
