Celtics Rumors: Boston Trying to Trade Kevin Garnett, Doc Rivers to Clippers

The 2013 NBA offseason is shaping up to be one of extraordinary measures, as stars are becoming free agents and the draft is looming. Surprisingly, two teams are taking the league by storm before free agency can commence, as the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Clippers are taking over the rumor mill.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the Celtics and Clippers are in talks for a trade that is built around 37-year-old center Kevin Garnett and head coach Doc Rivers. Per Marc Stein and Ramona Shelburne of ESPN, the Clippers believe they can also land Paul Pierce.
