The biggest weekend of the 2013 NHL free-agency period brought about many intriguing signings and a few big-time trades.
A few names remain unsigned, but Vincent Lecavalier is a Philadelphia Flyer, Jarome Iginla is a Boston Bruin and Daniel Alfredsson is a Detroit Red Wing.
Alfredsson is a Red Wing?! Let that sink in.
What these free-agent signings bring about is a change in the competitive landscape, though the top contenders remain the same: Bruins, Chicago Blackhawks and Red Wings.
