Watch Kevin Durant Get Swatted at Summertime Playground Game

Kevin Durant is, in fact, nice. He spends his summers playing basketball in playground leagues in order to give us highlights to watch, but every once in while something ugly happens.

It may only occur occasionally, but for every Drew League explosion or 66-point game at Rucker Park, there's the chance that he could get royally stuffed by Pops Mensah-Bonsu.

Go ahead and re-read that and re-watch the video in order to understand just what happened to Durant during his Goodman League game in Washington D.C. 

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Pops' résumé, first of all, you should be ashamed. Second, you should know that while he only had brief NBA stints with the Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs, Toronto Raptors and New Orleans Hornets, he's been all over the world.

Mensah-Bonsu has picked up a D-League All-Star Game MVP, EuroChallenge Final Four MVP, Turkish League championship and a EuroChallenge championship.

Of course, this all comes just over a week following Durant's return to the Goodman League with a huge, long-armed swooping dunk for an easy two points.
