New Orleans Pelicans vs. Los Angeles Lakers: Live Score and Analysis

March 4th, 2014 by Sean Hojnacki Leave a reply »
The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday, and they looked to make it three wins in a row with the New Orleans Pelicans visiting on Tuesday. New Orleans came in as losers of eight straight and harried from a long Mardi Gras road trip.

The Pelicans flipped the script and dominated the Lakers throughout the first half for a 67-51 lead.

Anthony Davis racked up 19 points and nine rebounds, and Tyreke Evans is threatening to notch a triple-double with 13 points, seven assists and five boards. Pau Gasol carried the Lakers with 17 first-half points, but the defense can't slow down NOLA's march to the rack.
