The start of the 2015-16 NHL regular season is just days away, but with teams looking to make last-minute changes and improvements, it is possible that some fairly significant names could be on the move.

Circumstances often dictate trades just prior to the start of the season. That was the case last year when the New York Islanders took advantage of cash-strapped teams by acquiring defensemen Johnny Boychuk and Nick Leddy from the Boston Bruins and Chicago Blackhawks, respectively.

Those types of opportunities could present themselves once again in the coming days, which means smart, aggressive organizations still have a chance to get better.

Here is a closer look at some of the biggest names who could find themselves donning new uniforms when the 2015-16 campaign commences.
