Harkless to Play vs. Jazz

Harkless has been cleared to play tonight against the Utah Jazz and will "probably" play less than 20 minutes, according to Casey Holdahl of the Blazers.

That is a relief for the Trail Blazers, who are looking for contributions from unheralded pieces such as Harkless this year after LaMarcus Aldridge and Nicolas Batum signed elsewhere during the offseason.
Harkless is a former first-round draft pick out of St. John’s who averaged 3.5 points and 2.4 rebounds a night last season for the Magic in only 15 minutes of action per game. At his best, he can pose as a matchup problem at 6’9” with the ability to hit from three-point range (he shot 38.3 percent from deep in 2013-14) or attack the basket.
