Jump-Shooting Warriors Troll Charles Barkley with Championship Shirts

The Golden State Warriors proved their doubters wrong last season by winning the NBA championship and relying heavily on jump shots and three-pointers to do so. Now, it's time to rub it in.

First up: Inside the NBA's Charles Barkley.

Barkley expressed his concern about the Warriors' style of play before last season's playoffs. Here's what Barkley said about Golden State's chances at the time, via Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle:


They’ve had a terrific season. But I don’t like jump-shooting teams. I don’t think you can make enough jumpers to win four series in a row. I’ve said that for 25 years, not just now. I think you physically manhandle them inside.

Well, the Warriors did indeed win four consecutive series—and they did so with relative ease. They went 16-5 during the postseason, with no series exceeding six games.
