The Los Angeles Clippers used a late-third-quarter run to separate themselves from a scrappy Dallas Mavericks team on the way to a 104-88 victory on Thursday at the Staples Center.

Blake Griffin spearheaded the late 19-6 run, hitting four straight field goals, including three long-range jumpers. Griffin would finish the game with 26 points on 11-of-17 shooting and 10 rebounds.

He was joined in double-figures by Jamal Crawford, who scored 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting off the bench. Austin Rivers added 14 and J.J. Redick had 12.

Dallas, playing without Deron Williams, Wesley Matthews and Chandler Parsons, hung within striking distance for most of three quarters, but the banged-up Mavericks ran out of steam.

John Jenkins led the way for the Mavs, scoring 17 points on 8-of-16 shooting. Dirk Nowitzki added 16 points on 6-of-15 shooting.
