Although he won't suit up against the Raptors' Atlantic Division rivals, Ross doesn't figure to miss extended action—especially since the injury is to his non-shooting hand.
Ross made a name for himself during his second season in Toronto when he averaged 10.9 points and shot 39.5 percent from three, but he didn't take a step forward last year. During the 2014-15 season, Ross averaged 9.8 points and knocked down 37.2 percent of his triples.
That said, an underwhelming 2014-15 season didn't stop the Raptors from signing Ross to an affordable three-year, $33 million deal before the league's extension deadline at the start of November, according to Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.
Seven games into the 2015-16 season, Ross is averaging just 6.3 points on 36.4 percent shooting from the floor and 28 percent shooting from three in 17.4 minutes a night.
