Washington Wizards: Gilbert Arenas and Teammate Pull Guns on Each Other?

ESPN is reporting that Washington Wizards players Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton pulled guns on each other on Christmas Eve in the locker room due to an argument over a gambling debt.

If true, this would prove to be one of the most shocking events in the history of sports.

Previously, Arenas admitted to storing unarmed firearms in his locker, which led to an immediate investigation.  It was during that investigation that the this story was uncovered.

Purportedly, the argument began when Crittenton approached Arenas regarding a gambling debt.  When Arenas refused to pay, Crittenton pulled a gun, and that led to Arenas pulling his weapon.

When asked about the report, Arenas denied that the incident ever occurred.

The Washington Wizards released the following statement: "The Washington Wizards take this situation and the ongoing investigation very seriously.  We are continuing to cooperate fully with the proper authorities and the NBA and will have no further comment at this time."
