As the Houston Rockets look for ways to spark their roster heading into the second half, Ty Lawson will reportedly be part of the team for the rest of this season.
According to Sam Amick of USA Today, the Rockets intend to keep Lawson "past (the) Feb. 18 trade deadline."

Bucks Have Shown Interest in Lawson

Rumblings of Ty Lawson being involved in a trade surfaced again on Jan. 20, when Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders reported the Milwaukee Bucks were connected to the 28-year-old.
"A name that continues to get connected to the Bucks is Houston Rockets guard Ty Lawson," Kyler wrote, "but sources close to the Lawson situation say a deal to Milwaukee is highly unlikely at this point."
Lawson may have caught wind of those trade discussions, because he played well during Wednesday's loss against Detroit with a season-high 18 points on 8-of-13 shooting to go along with five rebounds and three assists.
