Marc-Andre Fleury Says Henrik Lundqvist Flipping Net over Is ‘Baby Stuff’

New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist flamboyantly flipped the goal he was defending during Thursday’s 4-1 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins. Opposing goalie Marc-Andre Fleury wasn’t impressed. 

Fleury was asked if he'd ever respond in such a manner in anger, and the Penguins netminder responded, “No, that’s baby stuff,” per Pens Inside Scoop.  

The mini-meltdown occurred when Lundqvist left the net to make a play on the puck during a break in the second period. Teammate Ryan McDonagh plowed Lundqvist, sending his stick to the corner of the rink.

The goalie then sought a whistle to no avail, and as the dust seemed to settle, Lundqvist launched the goal on its backside.

Lundqvist received a two-minute penalty for his antics and later left the game with a minor neck injury, per Wes Crosby of NHL.com.
