Jaromir Jagr continues to prove age is just a number, as the 44-year-old Florida Panther tied legend Gordie Howe for third all-time with his 1,850th career point, per George Richards of the Miami Herald.
Jagr assisted on Erik Gudbranson's goal with 10 minutes, 18 seconds remaining in the first period in Thursday's game against the Colorado Avalanche.

The assist was Jagr's 26th of the season. The veteran captain now has a team-leading 47 points for Florida, which came into Thursday's game atop the Atlantic Division.
The next target on the list is Mark Messier, and Jagr would need to record approximately two points per game in order to catch him this year, per James Mirtle of the Globe and Mail:
