Stephen Curry is the NBA's leading scorer and seemingly capable of hitting three-pointers from any spot inside of 50 feet, but even the Golden State Warriors star is doubtful as to whether he could ever match Kobe Bryant's famous 81-point game in 2006.
"Not a chance," said Curry of the likelihood, per Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News. "There's a reason why people are still talking about that game to this day. It's so special."
Bryant shot 28-of-46 from the field, including 7-of-13 from three-point range, in a 122-104 victory over the Toronto Raptors. Smush Parker and Chris Mihm were the next-closest Lakers in terms of made field goals, with each player making five shots apiece.
That kind of individual dominance is practically the antithesis of the Warriors' style, which emphasizes ball movement. Not to mention Curry and Bryant are two completely different scorers.
