The unthinkable on Sunday afternoon.
Behind 25 points from Jordan Clarkson, the Los Angeles Lakers hammered the Golden State Warriors, 112-95, at the Staples Center for their 13th win of the season.
You could see right from the start that things just weren't right for the Warriors, as the Lakers jumped out to a 22-21 lead after one quarter of play.
Los Angeles then had an offensive explosion in the second period, scoring 38 points and taking a 60-49 lead into halftime.
It looked like Golden State was going to make a move early in the third, as it went on a quick 6-0 run to trim a 14-point deficit to eight, but the Lakers responded, playing the Warriors perfectly even in the quarter.
Los Angeles continued to build its lead in the final frame thanks to some nifty runners and precise passing from Marcelo Huertas.
Midway through the fourth, Huertas threw an alley-oop to Larry Nance Jr., putting the Lakers up 19 points and sending the crowd into a frenzy.
Los Angeles led by as many as 23 in the win.
