The Golden State Warriors continued their record-setting tear Monday, earning a 119-113 victory over the Orlando Magic. As a result, they moved to 56-6 on the season and set an NBA record in the process:
As usual, Stephen Curry led the way with 41 points, 13 rebounds and four steals behind seven three-pointers, while fellow Splash Brother Klay Thompson added 27 points in the victory.
The win was Golden State's 45th straight at Oracle Arena.
Curry did more than just turn in yet another sparkling stat line Monday. He drilled his 300th three-pointer of the campaign, extending his own record for most makes from long-range in one season. The fact he did it in incredible, Curry-like fashion made it all the more exciting:
Golden State's last regular-season home loss came back on Jan. 27, 2015 against the Chicago Bulls in overtime. Since then, the Warriors won their last 18 home games of the 2014-15 season and proceeded to capture their first 27 of this season.
