Most of the time, answering a question with another question proves to be not an answer at all.
That isn't the case with Robert Horry.
According to the San Antonio Express-News' Melissa Rohlin, when she asked the seven-time NBA champion to choose between former teammates Tim Duncan and Kobe Bryant, Horry gave the most direct of subtle replies, saying, "Am I trying to win a championship, or am I trying to fill seats?"
Technically, both situations fit either player, but it's difficult not to presumably categorize Duncan as the former and Bryant as the latter—despite the fact that the Black Mamba holds the edge in playoff series head-to-heads.
It's possible that the former forward is referring to the current state of each legend as opposed to their pasts.
The Big Fundamental and his San Antonio Spurs sit in the Western Conference's second position, while Bryant and the L.A. Lakers are dead last. Recent history has not proven to be much different, either.
