Last year at this time, people were questioning whether or not Kevin Love could be successful in this league because of his poor start and poor numbers.
Fortunately, Jonny Flynn isn't having this problem, and he's actually posting really solid numbers, and is third on many Rookie of the Year rankings.
Now Kevin Love is playing extremely well, is second in the league in rebounds, and considered by some to be the big man of the Wolves' future over Jefferson.
So where will Flynn be in a year?
It takes a lot of players in the league some time to develop. Emeka Okafor was Rookie of the Year in 2004-2005, even though Dwight Howard was also in that draft class. Damon Stoudamire won Rookie of the year in 1996 over Kevin Garnett and Rasheed Wallace.
The best players in a draft aren't determined right away.
This looks to be true with Flynn.
Flynn wasn't playing very well in his first few games. He had a lot of turnovers, and almost cost the Wolves opening night against the Nets, after missing a shot that was put back by Damien Wilkins.
Now, Flynn is learning from his mistakes.
