With all of the focus on college basketball these days, the NBA had a very exciting week.
Playoffs continue to get closer and closer, and the future of franchises can be decided in these next few weeks. Teams are fighting for playoff berths and home court advantage.
Many players with teams that still need a higher seed have stepped up their games: The Suns' Amare Stoudemire had 44 points against Utah to get a win closer to securing the fourth seed in the West. Manu Ginobili scored 38 points for the Spurs, who are battling for a playoff spot, in a loss to Atlanta.
For every team still trying to win this season, there are teams that are trying to lose. Teams on the bottom are trying to increase their chances of getting John Wall or Evan Turner. Why else do you think the Minnesota Timberwolves have lost 13 in a row?
