2010 NBA Playoffs: Chicago Bulls Could Give Cleveland Cavaliers Trouble

The Chicago Bulls secured the eighth and final playoff spot and a first round matchup with the top-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers. History has shown the Bulls have next to no shot at upsetting the Cavs and moving on to the second round, however, that does not mean the Bulls will be an easy out.

If the Bulls proved anything in last years playoffs against the then defending champion Boston Celtics it's that they will fight until the end. That same fight was evident in securing their playoff spot.

After suffering a rash of injuries at the worst possible time the Bulls went through a 10-game losing streak that dropped them out of the playoffs. When the Bulls regained a full lineup they went on to finish the season 10-4. It took until the final day of the regular season for them to get into the playoffs.

Now that they are in they should provide a tough series for the Cavs. The two teams split the season series 2-2, but the Cavs played the final game without LeBron James. The Bulls did win an early season game in Cleveland which should provide confidence in knowing they can beat the Cavs at full strength in Cleveland.
