7’5" Sim Bhullar Shatters Backboard During Canada’s Pan Am Games Practice

Sacramento Kings center Sim Bhullar is 7'5" and 360 pounds. Players of that size are exceedingly rare, and dunking is usually a large part of their game.

We all know where this is going.

During one of Team Canada's Pan Am Games practices at the Air Canada Centre, Bhullar apparently threw down a dunk a little too hard. The backboard instantly shattered.


The team was forced to relocate to a nearby college:

Since it is up to our imaginations to actually visualize the dunk, we can look to some famous backboard-shattering dunks of the past for precedent:
