According to Gary Moore, who is Allen Iverson's personal manager, he says that Allen Iverson is working a comeback and is hoping to play during the 2010-11 NBA season.
"Allen is working out and he's getting himself prepared to make his return," Moore said by phone Friday. "He absolutely will try and play next year."
Iverson started out playing with the Memphis Grizzlies, but asked them to be left by the team due to personal reasons. He then returned back to the NBA after considering retirement.
Then he re-united back with his Philadelphia 76ers. Where it all began. Where his great legacy started and grew.
Iverson played well and got a vote to the All-Star team. Then in March, Iverson announced he would miss the rest of the 2009-10 NBA season due to family issues.
Now when it's all said and done, people think Iverson has retired.
Now he has proved all those fans wrong.
The family issues involved his four-year-old daughter. Her name is Messiah and it was announced she had an undisclosed illness. Moore was asked about A.I.'s daughter:
"With God's graces, she's doing very well," he said.
