Los Angeles Lakers forward Brandon Bass is dealing with an eye injury that will keep him out of action for an undisclosed amount of time.

Baxter Holmes of ESPN confirmed Bass would not be available against Sacramento on Tuesday.
Bass dealt with a sore right ankle earlier in the season, but X-rays came back negative after he suffered a momentary scare Jan. 12 against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Overall, though, Bass has been remarkably healthy since the start of the 2012-13 season. Prior to joining the Lakers this season, the rough-and-tumble Bass had missed a single game during the past three campaigns.
"You know what you’ll get when you put him in the game,” Lakers head coach Byron Scott said, per the Los Angeles Daily News' Mark Medina. "He’s not backing down to people. He’s one of those tough kids that will bring it every single night."
