Bucks Need Jennings Back, Too Late For Playoffs?

The Milwaukee Bucks suffered a 93-84 loss at Houston today. It is obvious that the Bucks are having a very tough time without Jennings and Delfino.

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Brandon Jennings has taken the boot off and is lightly shooting around in practice. The Bucks are 2-8 in their last 10 games, beating New Jersey and Dallas.

The scoring the Bucks need is not there. Bogut isn’t a big scorer; he is more of a 12-point 10-rebound guy, which is good. but without Jennings especially, the scoring is gone.  

Delfino has also been working out and is expected to be back “soon.”  In seven games, Delfino averaged 12.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.6 steals. Not any huge numbers, but once Jennings and Delfino are back and playing together we can expect Delfino’s numbers to jump up a little more.

What do the Bucks need? Well, first the Bucks need to get rid of Michael Redd before the trade deadline. Secondly, the Bucks need a true back-up to Andrew Bogut, a guy who can be the 2009 version of Kurt Thomas. I am not saying that I do not like Brockman or Sanders but they are both power ...
