Carmelo Anthony Approves Deal to New Jersey Nets According to Multiple Reports

According to multiple outlets, including the New York Daily News, Denver Nuggets star forward Carmelo Anthony, one of the NBA's best scorers at just 26 years of age, has signed off on the four-team trade that would land him in New Jersey.

The reported deal would have Nets' first-round draft pick Derrick Favors going to Denver along with Utah's Andrei Kirilenko and multiple draft picks from the Nets and Warriors (the Nets hold Golden State's first-round pick in 2012).

Devin Harris would be sent to the Charlotte Bobcats, with Boris Diaw heading to Utah.

However, role players are still being talked out and could be added to the deal.

Anthony, who has yet to sign a reported three-year/$65 million contract extension that has been on the table since June, would bring the Nets a scoop they were looking for all summer.

After missing out on all the big free agents including LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Amar'e Stoudemire, and Carlos Boozer, the Nets, assuming these reports are true, will be getting one of the NBA's best players today.
