Carmelo Anthony To The New Jersey Nets: Is He The Answer?

I know, I know.

"The NFL just started, who cares about the New Jersey Nets, let alone the NBA?"

Completely understandable. It's not like the Nets put on a show, except the 0-18 show, and they only did record 12 wins throughout the 82-game schedule. Whether the country wants to admit it or not, Carmelo Anthony can impact any team he goes to.

With the Nets, it's probably a greater impact than any other team, and why is that? Brook Lopez and Devin Harris may be good players, but they're not going to be able to lead a struggling franchise to a successful one.

What has Carmelo Anthony done?

He's had a supporting cast in Chauncey Billups, J.R. Smith, the Birdman, and Kenyon Martin, but he has clearly been the outstanding Denver Nugget the past few years. And, they have been good. Last year, the Nuggets notched a 53-29 record.

Then, the trade rumors started.  Melo to the Knicks? Melo to the Nets?
