The Golden State Warriors may have proved Charles Barkley wrong last season, but apparently the Inside the NBA analyst still hasn't jumped on the Dubs bandwagon.
Even if they are the defending champs. Even if they are on a historic pace at 56-6.
Barkley made an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday night. When the topic turned to basketball, the former hoops star didn't hold back his thoughts on March Madness or Golden State. And once again, he revealed he wasn't a believer in the record-setting Warriors.
"They have a terrific team. They’ve been great for the NBA," Barkley told Colbert (around the 32-minute mark in the video). "I’m telling you right now: They’re not gonna win the championship this year."
Barkley did not go on to predict who will hoist the Larry O'Brien Trophy this June, but he was confident enough in his Warriors prediction to make a friendly wager with Colbert.
