The Portland Trail Blazers completely dismantled the Cleveland Cavaliers in their 111-70 victory on Thursday night. The Blazers held the Cavs to three players in double-digit scoring, none of which had over 14 points, and 35.6% from the field.

Portland caught fire quick, taking a 33-4 lead in the first quarter and shooting 82 percent from the field for most of the period. LaMarcus Aldridge finished with a double-double, 20 points and 11 rebounds, in what he called the "most comfortable" win of the season.

Gerald Wallace also had his best game as a Blazer, putting up 16 points, six rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks; a well-rounded game for a well-rounded player.

"Our main thing was not to disrespect Cleveland, but just to focus on what we needed to do," Wallace said in an interview after the game.

Coach Nate McMillan warned the team not to take Cleveland lightly, and they heeded his advice, stomping on the opponent while they were down.

The stingy Portland defense limited Cleveland to a mere 21-of-59 from the field and 3-of-15 from three. Wesley Matthews and Nicolas Batum both scored 14 points, and Rudy Fernandez ...
