Rather than celebrate a career-high 51 points in an April 2014 game against the Houston Rockets, then-Minnesota Timberwolves guard Corey Brewer found himself being "randomly" drug tested by the NBA after the contest.
That seems too coincidental to be true, right?
It's always funny to hear about a professional athlete getting "randomly" drug tested after a career game. In the NFL, the Indianapolis Colts' Pat McAfee (here) and Adam Vinatieri (here) have each been drug tested in the days after a big moment.
As it turns out, the NFL isn't the only league in which coincidences happen.
On April 11, 2014, Brewer led the Timberwolves to a 112-110 victory over the Rockets by dropping 51 points. As he recently told CBS Sports' James Herbert, he was drug tested immediately following the game.

Brewer: People bring it up pretty often. I just remember it was amazing. I felt like everything I threw up was going in. It was fun. And especially it was fun to do it in Minnesota where we had a rough year, to get the crowd something to cheer about.
