After missing the playoffs for the first time in 12 years, the Dallas Mavericks have more time than usual to prepare for the 2013 NBA draft.
The Mavericks have the 13th (lottery) and 44th (second round) picks in hand and need to fill their roster. Plenty of players will be given a look come draft time. However, the possibility of a trade looms, as both Chris Paul and Dwight Howard are available in free agency.
