DeMarcus Cousins Suspended 1 Game by Kings: Latest Details and Reaction

Mercurial Sacramento Kings big man DeMarcus Cousins was suspended for one game on Thursday due to conduct detrimental to the team.  

Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports reported the news of Cousins' brief ban, adding it will be enforced for Friday's contest against the Orlando Magic and that it came as a result of the 25-year-old screaming at head coach George Karl.

Cousins is averaging 27.4 points, 11.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per contest this season, but that hasn't produced enough wins for the Kings, who are in the midst of a three-game losing streak, have dropped seven out of eight and are 25-38 overall.

A news release through the Kings' official website confirmed Cousins' suspension but didn't specify what it was for, as Spears did.
