This season is the start of the future powerhouse of the league.  This season is the emergence of one super-star and the rising of a star side-kick.  This is the season where a certain player shuts up all the critiques and makes a name for himself, not just his star teammate.

This certain player came into the league having to play a whole new position he never played.  He came into the league as a shooting guard and was forced to lead the second youngest team in the league at the one position.

After having a typical rookie season, fans wanted Ricky Rubio.  They wanted him bad.  However, after a stellar season so far, for both the team and this player, the Rubio situation is long gone and the city is ready for this player to run the offense for the next 10-13 years.

He's the first franchise player since Gary Payton to score 30+ points and 13+ assists in a game.

The mystery player is none other than Oklahoma City's Russell Westbrook.
