Hedo Turkoglu and the Sacramento Kings: A Possible Reunion?

Hedo Turkoglu has already made it known that he is not happy in Toronto and wants to play elsewhere next season.  Yahoo! Sports reported that Turkoglu is interested in rejoining the Sacramento Kings.

The Kings drafted Hedo 16th overall in the 2000 NBA Draft.  He played three seasons in Sacramento as a member of a perennial playoff contender.  Turkoglu spent his time there mostly as a member of a very talented bench group along with Bobby Jackson and Scot Pollard (a man who best known for having some of the weirdest hairstyles in NBA history).

Now after only one season in Toronto and fresh off the $53 million contract he signed in the offseason, Turkoglu is likely to be traded if any team is willing to take him.

A reunion with the Kings makes sense for both sides.  Sacramento is a young team in need of some veteran leadership, and its weakest position is at small forward.  Omri Casspi played well as a rookie, but he still needs to develop further.

Meanwhile, this would allow the Raptors to rid themselves of the disgruntled Turkoglu and add a couple talented players.
