Thanks in large part to the return of Jimmy Butler, the Chicago Bulls (31-30) topped the Houston Rockets (30-32), 108-100 on Saturday at the United Center.

Butler was a game-high plus-28, as the Bulls looked like an entirely different team in the 34 minutes he spent on the floor. Before fouling out, Butler scored 24 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out six assists.

Bulls big man Pau Gasol did his part as well, racking up 28 points, 17 boards and six dimes in a dominant performance against Houston's Dwight Howard.

Derrick Rose was also solid, going for 17 points on 10 shots and handing out nine assists.

The Rockets, meanwhile, were led by James Harden, who had 36 points and eight assists. Corey Brewer pitched in 12 off the bench, while Howard had 12 rebounds and eight points before fouling out.

Houston now trails the two-game season series, 1-0. Chicago will have a chance to sweep on March 31 at the Rockets' Toyota Center.
